About the journal
The journal "Intelligent Systems. Theory and Applications" publishes scientific achievements in the field of theory and applications of intelligent systems, new information technologies and computer science. The founder of the journal is the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University represented by the Chair of Mathematical Theory of Intelligent Systems (MaTIS). The publication of the journal is supported by Scientific Council on the complex problem "Cybernetics" RAS, Department "Mathematical modeling of technological processes" IATS RF, Section "Informatics and Cybernetics" RANS. The journal is co-founded by Intellectual Systems LLC. The journal is included in the list of publications included by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in the register of publications of materials on candidate and doctoral dissertations in mathematics and mechanics. The sponsor of the publication is Dva Oblaka LLC (development of corporate information systems).
The founder of the journal and the editor-in-chief until December 2021 was Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Valery Borisovich Kudryavtsev, a well-known Russian scientist, academician of IATS and RANS. In 1991, Valery Borisovich Kudryavtsev founded the Chair of Mathematical Theory of Intelligent Systems at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University and was its head until his death on December 23, 2021. He published more than 230 articles, 17 books, and 35 US patents in microelectronics. Professor Kudryavtsev created a large scientific school, trained 27 doctors and 88 candidates of sciences in mathematics and its applications. His students work in more than 20 countries. Many of them have become famous scientists, leaders of scientific and educational centers. /p>

Aim and Scope
The aim of the journal “Intelligent Systems. Theory and Applications” is to bring together research papers on theories of intelligent systems, automata, pattern recognition, databases, intelligent problem solvers, learning systems, information security, theoretical informatics, mathematical biology, mathematical economics, synthesis of control systems. The main problems of these areas are investigated. A distinctive feature of the journal is that it contains works on general issues of intelligent systems, on specific types of intelligent systems and on the mathematical apparatus with which it is possible to solve problems of the first and second type. The journal publishes papers reflecting interest in the theory and applications of such large research centers as Lomonosov Moscow State University, RAS, leading research centers in China, Japan, Europe and America. Also published are the results obtained in cooperation with Russian and foreign organizations, including Samsung (Korea), Huawei (China), AvagoTechnologies (USA), IntelCorp. (USA), Link & Link (Germany) and others.
Founder
The founder of the journal is the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University represented by the Chair of Mathematical Theory of Intelligent Systems (MaTIS). The publication of the journal is carried out at the expense of sponsorship, voluntary donations from individuals and funds received from subscriptions. The sponsor of the publication is Dva Oblaka LLC. The authors of articles, recommended for publication in the journal “Intelligent Systems. Theory and Applications”, are not charged any fee for publication of articles. Editorial decisions are made based on the results of peer review, solely on the basis of the quality of the articles. The only advertising in the journal is the placement of information about the sponsor of the publication. The editors of the journal are not engaged in marketing.
